I was so happy to get this and it does what it is suppose to do. I was skeptical but had to get something because the weight plates laying everywhere was annoying. This was certainly the right choice. It takes up little floor space, holds all the weights I need it to with room to grow as well as the curl bar, and hex/trap bar. It was easy to put together and is very sturdy. The price is stellar for the quality you get. I would highly recommend this to everyone who is looking for something to store their plates and a couple of bars.

Great storage for your plates and bar!

Well designed and sturdy! Assembly was very straightforward. It comes with tools for assembly but I used my own 17mm socket/ratchet and wrench instead as the included tools are not big enough to give you good leverage.
For the most part, It holds my bumpers and bars very well. It does not feel like the tree will topple over with imbalanced weight distributions. However, if you have 45 lb bumpers (or larger), it'll fit 3 bumpers on a collar but you won't be able to put a clip on to secure it (see pic). This isn't a big deal but it would be nice if the collars were a bit longer. I don't think this will be an issue with 3 steel plates.
The barbell holders have a plastic insert that (I assume) is designed to not let your barbell sleeve's get scratched from the metal stand. I found that this plastic insert kept coming out with barbell removal. So I alleviated this with some duct tape (see pic). This is the only negative I have experienced (so far).

Fits bumper plates on all pegs

I had to look pretty hard to find a stand that can take bumper plates (17.75 in dia) on all pegs. This one does.
It was packed pretty well. The boxes for items like this often look like they've been run over by a truck when delivered. The box had one small area where the cardboard was damaged and metal exposed but was otherwise intact.
I'll agree with another poster on using a 17mm wrench instead of the ones provided. One assembly tip- leave the bolts a little loose on the legs and sit the unit upright before tightening them. There is enough slop in the holes that the unit may not sit straight if the bolts are tightened with the legs off the floor.
I did notice that the plastic plugs in the pegs are slightly oversized. My plates fit over them fine, but I'll have to see if plates being removed will catch and pull the plugs out. If that happens, I may pull the plugs and file down the edge a bit.
Overall, I'm satisfied.
